The Florence Ferry Tollhouse Collection Building was originally located at the west end of the Mormon Bridge, where it was used to collect the tolls that paid for the construction of the bridge. When the bridge construction was paid off, the tollhouse was moved to 3010 Willit, just west of the 1856 Bank of Florence.
The Florence Ferry Tollhouse Collection Building is currently used as a barbershop, known as "Dick's Place."
Dick is involved with the Florence Days celebration, and along with Mikki Keller, plans the Florence Days Parade. Dick can be reached by calling 402-453-6688.
