Saturday, May 10th – Sunday, 11th, 2014: Florence Days, 10 A.M. - ?

Florence celebrates its heritage each year with a parade and lots of other activities; this year (2014) the parade was on the Saturday of the second full weekend.  The attractions were open both days (the entire weekend). The Florence Days celebration is organized by the Florence Historical Foundation.

• Florence Days - Second weekend of May (10-11th), 2014
  • May 10th (Saturday): Florence Days Parade, 1-3 P.M. from Miller Park to McKinley Street. See Details | See pictures from the 2007 parade.
    
    
  • May 10-11th (Saturday-Sunday): Florence Mill Open House & sneak preview of upcoming Art Show

    Open 1 P.M. to 5 P.M. on May 11th only.
    
    
  • May 8-10 (Thursday-Saturday): Florentine Players Melodrama,
    “Where Is My Wandering Girl Tonight?” or “Who's Your Hero?”
    Ticket Prices: $10, Seniors & Groups of 8 or more: $8, available by mail, or in person after April 16th at Bakers, No-Frills, and Florence Drugtown.
    Curtain at 7:30 P.M. Thurs-Sat
    Doors open 1 hour before curtain.
